Wapiti Townsite - Ghost town

This was an interesting stop. As you drive up through the mountains you approach the top of this rise and through the tress you see the one remaining building. It is the only building and partially standing. Apparently they found wire gold in this area, Farncomb Hill. If you walk around you see traces of other buildings and of course the inevitable garbage dump. Glancing through this one I spotted several old soup bones. By the way the outhouse is carpeted.
