Salmon Ruins  New Mexico  Townsite - Ghost town

Why is it called Salmon ruins? Simple, George Salmon homesteaded the property where these ruins are located. Some of his old buildings are still standing. Can you find them? This place was abandon by the "ancient ones" in the late 13th century. It is on the banks of the old San Juan river. Good place to introduce someone to Indian ruins.
