Redstone Colorado Townsite - Ghost town
Redstone is occupied year round. When I was there an art festival was in progress. It was an accidental exposure of a coal seam by an avalanche that brought the people here. The coke ovens can be seen on the side of the road. Across the river sits the town. For a company town it was fairly elaborate. Most of the buildings did not seem anything like the usual mining camps.
