Pearl Colorado Townsite - Ghost town

One of those out of the way but yet easy to get to Ghost towns. Copper mining was done nearby and the smoke stack you see was the site of the copper smelter. I suspect that the town may have gotten the name Pearl from the postmistress, one Pearl Wheeler. That is just a guess on my part about the name but it does sound reasonable.
