Guess Who

Jefferson Colorado Townsite - Ghost town

This town had many names, like Jefferson City, many post offices, and many different reasons for being a town. You name it, gold, ranching, railroad stop, and even a cheese factory. Apparently starting in 1860 it went through several different stages of existence, even listed as being in Kansas territory,  before finally ending up as just plain old Jefferson.
