Golden New Mexico Townsite - Ghost town
The best thing here is the chapel. One of those towns where most people will buzz through and not even notice it. Some people claim the 1st gold rush west of the Mississippi occurred here in 1825. That would have beaten the CA, CO and AK rushes. On the scenic turquoise trail in New Mexico.
