If you have not read his books you need to buy some of them. In the mean time check out his new web site. The website for Colorado historian Kenneth Jessen. Added- I sometimes get requests for links etc to various site. I typically only honor those requests that help preserve the history of the Ghost towns. My most recent visit to the Vulture site was in 2006 when I took my 93 year old Mom for a day trip around Phoenix. Well worth a visit for anyone anytime. THANKS The Vulture Mine Preservation and Restoration Association's mission is to save the 1863 Vulture Gold Mine/Vulture City site and buildings. The buildings straddle private and adjoining public land. VMPRA's goal is to purchase the property that is privately owned and, in parallel while funds are being raised for the purchase, to preserve and manage the buildings that are on BLM land. We have done an extensive amount of research and are also working on the interpretive element of the project.
