The Vulture Mine Preservation and Restoration Association's mission is to save the 1863 Vulture Gold Mine/Vulture City site and buildings. The buildings straddle private and adjoining public land. VMPRA's goal is to purchase the property that is privately owned and, in parallel while funds are being raised for the purchase, to preserve and manage the buildings that are on BLM land. We have done an extensive amount of research and are also working on the interpretive element of the project.
