Wild Burros
I spotted these guys in a meadow on the way to an old Otto Mears Toll road.
(4wd trail today)
When the miners left they did not always take everything. These are probably descendants from some of the burros used to haul ore out of the mines. At one time the burros even roamed some of the old ghost towns. I remember seeing them on the streets of Cripple Creek.
