Summit Colorado Ghost Town

Summit was a stage and railroad stop on the road between Silverton and Ouray. Summit is located at the top of Red Mountain Pass on the east side of the road. Summit was known for its saloons that gave people a breather before heading down the mountain to either Ouray or Silverton.
