Lincoln City Colorado Ghost Town
Not much left of this town. Couple buildings, some falling down cabins and the usual mine tailings. Easy to get to with 2 wheel drive. Apparently this is where wire gold (twisted strands of pure gold) was discovered in French Creek. The town never got much bigger then several hundred people in the early 1880's and by the 1890's it was down to less than 30 people.
