Black Rose Mine Colorado

This one holds a special place for me. My 82 year young neighbor,  Paul, told me about it. His uncle worked this mine. Paul came to Colorado to live with his uncle. It is also the place I went to test out my new Jeep Rubicon. If you keep going up from the mine the 4X4 road gets progressively tougher. Ask my son, Spike, he was with me. I sure do like my locking differentials in the new Rubicon. A 4X4 tricked out pickup had tried getting up the road. He had to be winched out. I just locked the differentials and walked up the road. Impressive...
